Diagnoses, repairs, reconditions, and adjusts equipment as required and complete all paperwork on the troubled equipment to which the individual is assigned.   Attends training sessions as required.   Works in a neat, orderly, and safe manner, constantly seeking to improved methods and the safety of others.   Maintains a positive attitude and role model for the other employees to follow.   Maintains a minimum set of tools required for job performance.   Cares and maintains company machines/equipment and ensure co-workers are doing the same.   Demonstrates utilization of dealer computer systems for work orders and other documentation.   Maintains personal company service literature, and maintain a high awareness of technical changes in the industry.   Repairs or replaces defective parts on machinery/equipment.   Disassembles components and properly clean parts.   Inspects components to insure maximum parts are being reused to control repair costs.   Prepares all parts requisitions, time cards, or service reports, as requested by the supervisor. Ensures they are legible and accurate with sufficient detail for service accounting needs.   Works under the guidance of a qualified shop or field service technician in the disassembly, repair, re-assembly and test of components.

Handles all customer orders in keeping with company customer satisfaction practice.   Serves counter customers or acknowledges promptly upon approaching the parts counter.   Suggests at least one additional related item to each customer on every call.   Communicates all customer relationship issues to Parts Manager including complaints, obtains all pertinent information prior to reporting and suggests course of action.   Enters all parts sales orders promptly and correctly in the computer for printing and shipping the order. All parts orders to be completed daily, assisting co-workers as needed.   Processes parts returns the day received, check for condition and original sell price.   Maintains current knowledge of all information resources, including SIS, Infocast, Reman, ANTARES, and Allied lines.   Assists with filling orders when necessary.   Maintains neat lobby display and counter work area.

Primary Job Role   Enforces all safety policies and procedures. Ensures acceptable truck condition / appearance, tool inventory, equipment, required service manuals and safety items.   Receives calls from customers for field service repairs. Secures customer authorization and applicable information as required. Ensures customer is kept up-to-date on the status of his/her work, including revised estimates.   Opens field service work orders, segments and prints time cards. Ensures all employees know their job assignments by starting time.   Responsible for all field operations and tracing of all field work orders. Follow-ups field service work orders, calls customers. Checks all field work orders for accuracy, approves and forwards to appropriate office personnel (Service Manager, Service Administrator).   Provides necessary technical advice to technicians to maximize repair integrity and minimize service warranty. Participates in service meeting at the branch.   Reviews each employee annually with Service Manager to review his/her progress and job classification.
