Directs and coordinates activities of Compressor parts business. Creates relationships with Compressor parts vendors and establishes various lines of repair parts to stock. Determine brands, lines and quantities of parts to carry. In order to grow Sullair, Atlas Copco and the allied parts and service business, works with existing parts and service supervisory personnel in establishing strategic direction. Works with Compressor PSSR’s to assist them in growing their accounts. Assist all other branches with Compressor parts related concerns and/or training.   Negotiate and establish parts agreements with Sullair, Atlas Copco and all other compressed air manufacturers Ring Power represents. Vendor agreements should ensure Ring Power a competitive position in the market place and include favorable parts return policies. Attend vendor trade shows/training sessions as required.   Negotiate and establish agreements with aftermarket compressor parts suppliers. Attend vendor trade shows/training sessions as required.   Responsible for Inventory Control to include monitoring stocking levels, inventory turns, and appropriate gross profits. Monitor annual return requirements from each vendor to ensure inventory stays current.   Monitor vendor specials so that we take advantage of any promotional pricing vendors may offer. Minimize freight costs for the company by purchasing the required minimum order amounts.   Monitor core reports from suppliers and work with branches to make sure we are returning cores within our eligibility periods as well as purchasing against banked cores.   Work with existing parts/service/marketing management teams to implement compressor parts strategies. Assist with Customer calls as needed.   Provide training to counter personnel throughout the company to ensure Ring Power parts departments grow in air compressor parts knowledge.   Work on bids that apply to the compressor parts industry. Responsible for reviewing bids for profitability, creating pricing and submitting the proposal.   Coordinate and schedule parts and service training for parts, service, and product support personnel.   Establish effective marketing strategies, coordinating with product support sales, branch parts and service managers.   Ensure the parts business is profitable and offer the best possible product support to customers.   Provide technical parts support to Ring Power parts, service and sales employees on a regular basis.   Provide support and maintains regular contact with customers as assigned.   Continued pursuit of personal and professional growth and development within industry.   Maintain a positive attitude and professional appearance.   Maintain good relations with parts and service areas in all departments within Ring Power.   Responsible for generating new ideas on growth initiatives, which add to parts and service offerings and grow parts and service revenue.   Any and all other duties deemed necessary by management.

Assist in tank inspections, assemble tools, filters and piping to clean tanks, clean work area and complete all forms/reports.   Attends training sessions as required.   Works in a neat, orderly, and safe manner, constantly seeking to improve methods of service to our customers.   Maintains a positive attitude, with a clean neat appearance, and a role model for the other employees to follow.   Maintains a minimum set of tools required for job performance.   Cares and maintains company machines/equipment and ensure co-workers are doing the same.   Demonstrates utilization of dealer computer systems, for work orders and other documentation.   Maintains personal company service literature, and maintains a high awareness of technical changes in the industry.   Creates repair estimates and submits information to substantiate quotes and estimates.   Prepares all parts requisitions, time cards, or service reports, as requested by the Service Manager. Ensures they are legible and accurate with sufficient detail for service accounting needs.   Monitors job expenses versus repair estimates and ensures that the lead person is aware of any cost over run, prior to the job being completed.   Trains and/or mentors others in department.
