Primary Job Role Conducts all assigned work in a safe manner, adhering to all applicable safety, environmental and contamination control policies, procedures and regulations. Wears proper personal protective equipment.   Attends and successfully completes required tasks and technician training classes in the apprenticeship program.   Maintains a minimum set of tools as defined by the Apprenticeship Program to diagnose, disassemble and assemble machine components to manufacturer’s specifications.   Performs basic equipment repair functions including maintenance, diagnostics, remove and replacement of parts and major components with support from a designated mentor, as needed.   Works in the assigned area under the direct guidance of a qualified technician in a neat and orderly fashion, constantly looking for ways of improving the methods of work, work area, and safety standards   Completes required documentation utilizing appropriate software to document repairs performed on equipment, and accounting for repair times. Submits Apprenticeship program documentation to mentor and supervisor as required by the program.   Approaches work in a positive manner and maintains conduct that is supportive of the work team. Contributes to team efforts by accomplishing tasks on time while maintaining safety and quality expectations.   Assists with maintaining the facility by following proper contamination control guidelines, including housecleaning, and performing other general maintenance duties.   Performs other duties as assigned.   Essential Job Competencies Safety: fully supports, encourages and follows safe work behavior, and considers safety of paramount importance in the workplace.   Job Specific Skills: Demonstrates the required depth and mastery of knowledge and skill associated with the job as identified in the Learning Management System (LMS) and other applicable sources. Primary Job Role Inspects, documents and function runs the rental air compressors for one hour prior to shipment and upon return by the customer.   Takes photos of all air compressors and dryers that are in the rental fleet prior to loading for rental or unloading upon return.   Makes sure that the units are full of fuel, properly labeled with manufactures decals and rental decals as required. Stocks equipment with extra filters, have the proper fittings, and are clean and fully functional after the rental or prior to purchase.   Completes minor repairs as necessary, such as installing new filters, control lines and gauges.   Reports any large repair items to the PSD Shop Supervisor for shop work requests.   Organizes the equipment yard and PSD warehouse.   Keeps a complete listing of hose & fitting inventory.   Assists both the PSD Warehouse Foreman and other Warehousemen when necessary.   Performs other duties as assigned.
