Primary Job Role   When acting as Captain, files flight plan with FSS and obtains weather data and interprets data to ensure safety of flight conditions.   Ensures the performance of the following items, which may be delegated to the First Officer when acting as Captain: (a) Making pre-flight and in-flight tests to ensure safety of flight, (b) Cleaning and stocking aircraft with supplies maintaining it in ready flight condition, and (c) Preparing aircraft for departure and securing aircraft at the end of flight.   Assists Director of Flight Operations in hiring, on-boarding, developing, and training new pilots.   Assists Director of Flight Operations in ensuring that the fleet is maintained, meeting or exceeding FAA and other regulatory regulations, rules, and laws, to ensure the safe and optimal performance of each aircraft.   Assists in the selection, purchase, and stocking of all supplies related to the operation. This includes building maintenance and housekeeping supplies, as well as passenger refreshments and snacks and other comfort items offered both in the terminal building as well as on each of the aircraft.
