Coordinates, prepares, and processes the administration of tag and titles by performing the following duties.
Prepares and processes paperwork of the rental fleet tag work and the sold tag work in conjunction with the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV).
Coordinates the International Registration Plan for the rental fleet by obtaining temporary operation permits until registration paperwork is complete.
Prepares tag renewals for RPC and the Diesel Construction Company (DCC) for tag-a-long trailers, truck cranes, semi trailers, and boom trucks.
Purchases and maintains inventory of temporary tags and maintains spreadsheet of all temporary tags issued.
Issues temporary tags for Heavy Equipment Sales and Southeastern Crane rental fleet, and sold units.
Prepares monthly reports on REC title work processed, sold title work processed, and temporary tags issued.
Revises and updates REC procedure for procuring tags.
Maintains DMV procedure manual and attends DMV refresher classes yearly.
Maintains DCC vehicle spreadsheet and updates the replacement vehicle spreadsheets with bids as they are received.
Assigns vehicle numbers to new vehicles, tracks receipt of registrations/tags for new vehicles from dealers, creates vehicle receipts and data sheets for new vehicles, and coordinates the swap from the old to the new vehicle.
Meets with vendors to establish accounts and contract pricing on consumables.
Reviews usage reports annually and negotiates pricing.
Assists the Purchasing/Facility Manager as needed.
Manages sales activities of organization by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.
Directs staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales program.

Provides technical and sales support to customers on a regular basis. This support should include the development of "lunch and learn sessions" to provide individual and group presentations for the purpose of new product updates and product improvements. Performs regular "cold calls" on new customers in order to expand the existing customer base.

Maintains a schedule that maximizes the effectiveness of the time spent in the field and the office and provide this schedule to the Manager.
Develops and submit a yearly forecast and marketing plan.
Tracks all quotes including jobs won, jobs pending, jobs lost and jobs developing as required.

The primary function of the Shop Service Advisor is to work with the immediate Supervisor in assigning and supervising technicians. The Service Advisor is to set the best possible standards in all duties given him by the Foreman and to help the Foreman in all training, testing and evaluations. The Shop Service Advisor is to be the working leader of personnel in assigned work area.
Responsible for scheduling, supervising and developing shop technicians. Ensuring Technicians are aware of Safety requirements know their job assignments prior to shift start.
Establish procedures for troubleshooting and diagnosing. Ensure repair processes are followed at all times and all safe work practices are adhered to. Assist Shop Technicians in the proper diagnosis of difficult problems.
Schedule and conduct bi-monthly Toolbox Safety Meetings on relevant topics, copy of attendants list documented and saved.
Effectively coordinate service work flow job assignments to shop technicians. Maintain a high level of quality for all repairs on machines and components to ensure no faulty work leaves shop.
Communicate effectively with internal and external customers as well as all Technicians. Customer is immediately notified of additional repairs deemed necessary, but not included in the estimate and/or work order. Ensure all open work orders are reviewed daily to assure no work order is open more than three days without just reason.

The primary function of the Service Leadperson Shop is to work as the immediate Supervisor in assigning and supervising technicians. The Service Leadperson is to set the best possible standards in all duties given him by the Foreman and to help the Foreman in all training, testing and evaluations. The Service Leadperson is to be the working leader of personnel in assigned work area.
Responsible for scheduling, supervising and developing shop technicians. Ensuring Technicians are aware of Safety requirements know their job assignments prior to shift start.
Review service reports for accuracy at completion of the job.
Establish procedures for troubleshooting and diagnosing. Ensure repair processes are followed at all times and all safe work practices are adhered to. Assist Shop Technicians in the proper diagnosis of difficult problems.
Schedule and conduct bi-monthly Toolbox Safety Meetings on relevant topics, copy of attendants list documented and saved.
Effectively coordinate service work flow job assignments to shop technicians. Maintain a high level of quality for all repairs on machines and components to ensure no faulty work leaves shop.
Communicate effectively with all Technicians. Foreman or supervisor is immediately notified of additional repairs deemed necessary, but not included in the estimate and/or work order. Ensure all open work orders are reviewed daily to assure no work order is open more than three days without just reason.
