Main Duties & Responsibilities

Primary Job Role

Inspects, documents and function runs the rental air compressors for one hour prior to shipment and upon return by the customer.


Takes photos of all air compressors and dryers that are in the rental fleet prior to loading for rental or unloading upon return.


Makes sure that the units are full of fuel, properly labeled with manufactures decals and rental decals as required. Stocks equipment with extra filters, have the proper fittings, and are clean and fully functional after the rental or prior to purchase.


Completes minor repairs as necessary, such as installing new filters, control lines and gauges.


Reports any large repair items to the PSD Shop Supervisor for shop work requests.


Organizes the equipment yard and PSD warehouse.


Keeps a complete listing of hose & fitting inventory.


Assists both the PSD Warehouse Foreman and other Warehousemen when necessary.


Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

Formal Education High School diploma or GED


Experience 3-4 years

Required / Credentials

Able to easily and effectively comprehend written material and communicate orally and in writing with employees and customers.


Experience in Air Compressor Sales/Rental Operations/Maintenance.


Safely operate a fork-lift and overhead gantry crane.

Updating of Knowledge

Job requirements occasionally change requiring re-training to stay current every 3-5 years.
