Main Duties & Responsibilities

Primary Job Role

Effectively manages their territory, conducts cold calls, builds and strengthens relationships with customers, and expands customer base.

 

Provides or facilitates technical and educational support to customers, collaborates with other Ring Power technical and training experts to build credibility and advances customer learning about products, services, and solutions.

 

Sells tools and tooling packages into the electric utility market. Secondary markets include, heavy equipment, foundation drilling and vocational services.

 

Assists managers in developing annual goals and objectives for the market, including specific accounts, products and/or industries with periodic progress reviews. Develops and submits yearly territory forecast and plan for approval by manager.

 

Develops and maintains customer accounts. Establishes proper credit levels as well as tracks all sales opportunities and activities in the CRM and keeping records current.

 

Conducts themselves as a professional: commits to personal and professional growth and learning; is honest, considerate and respectful; and maintains a professional appearance.

 

Performs division - specific roles and fulfills division - specific responsibilities as directed by divisional managers and executives.

 

Collaborates with other Ring Power professionals, departments, and divisions on marketing, sales, service, and operations.

 

Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

Formal Education Bachelor's Degree in a related area of study

Experience 1-2 years

Required / Credentials

  • Able to easily and effectively comprehend written material and communicate orally and in writing with employees and customers.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Skill with Microsoft Office 365 Suite.

Not Required but Highly Desired Criteria

  • Sales experience.
  • Industry or technical experience.
  • Customer Relations Management experience.

Updating of Knowledge

  • Job requirements frequently change requiring re-training once or more per year.
