    Main Duties & Responsibilities

    Supply Chain Associate is responsible for maintaining the parts warehouse by receiving and storing parts, filling customer orders and striving for a 5 star contamination control environment.

     

    Receives shipments, identifies parts from shipments and proper bin location.

    Convey materials and items from receiving to storage or to other designated areas.

    Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, or product code.

    Pull orders as prioritized with the Barflex Queue and distribute items to their assigned delivery location.

    Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves, or convey orders to packing station or shipping attendant.

    Bag and Tag all parts to ensure accurate identification.

    Prepare product for storage and/or delivery to Caterpillar Contamination Control guidelines.

    Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed.

    Weigh or count items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards.

    Arrange stock parts in specified sequence for assembly by other workers.

    Enter records into the computer.

    Drive vehicle to transport completed orders to Service Department locations for consumption.

    Build hoses according to specifications, while maintaining contaminate free environment.

    Performs daily bin and physical counts via warehouse management tooling.

    Adheres to good housekeeping and contamination control standards.

    Inspects and processes returns, including cores, unused parts, and damaged parts following policies, procedures and guidelines.

    Processes parts transfers and returns with attention to accuracy and parts condition. Follows exceptions with necessary communication/documentation.

    Qualifications

    No previous experience required.  This is an entry level position.

    Must be able to comprehend, speak and write the English language.

    Must possess good interpersonal and communication skills.

     

    High School Diploma or equivalent required.
