    Main Duties & Responsibilities

    Project Leader, Implementation Team Leader, works with other groups to isolate problems and make recommendations to Vice President Service Operations, Territory Service Managers and Service Managers for both Heavy Equipment Service and Surface Mining Divisions.

     

    Perform special projects as requested by Company Management.

     

    Serve as Target Account Manager for accounts assigned by Management.

     

    Administer performance studies on individual branches and make suggestions for areas needing improvement.

     

    Travel / visit branches on a regular basis to assist as required by Management.

     

    Oversee areas that have territory wide responsibilities that are centralized (i.e. PM Services).

     

    Work as a liaison between CAT and Ring Power on special projects with the Caterpillar Service Operations Rep.

     

    Serve as a Team Lead on new businesses that require transition into Ring Power Heavy Equipment Div.

     

    Review and update Standard Job Pricing.

     

    Write new Job Descriptions as required for the Service Department.

     

    Work with other managers / departments to prepare efficiency studies as related to capital investment purchases.

     

    Become a member of the Ideas for Excellence Review team for H/E Service & Surface Mining Divisions.

     

    Become a member of the Corporate Safety Committee.

     

    Contributes to the continuity of company policies for Heavy Equipment Service branches.

     

    Serve as a fill in for other Service Management in case of a short to mid-term absence.


    Confers with VP Service Operations and other administration personnel to review achievements and discuss required changes in goals or objectives resulting from current status and conditions.

     

    Serves as a member of management committees on special studies.

     

    Directly supervises employees on the administration team. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

     

    All other duties as assigned by Management.

    Qualifications

    5 years practical dealer experience in related field.


    Computer skills in dealer computer systems, Microsoft Office and Cat programs.


    Must be able to comprehend, speak and write the English language.


    Must possess good interpersonal and communication skills.

     

    Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field from a four-year college or university or related equivalent experience preferred.
