    Main Duties & Responsibilities

    To effectively promote parts and service sales on all lift trucks and associated equipment in the assigned territory and to promote good will towards Ring Power fostering machine sales for the division as well as all areas of Ring Power in accordance with company policies.

     

    Obtains a satisfactory amount of parts and service business for the parts and service departments, in order to meet the goals established each year.

     

    Provide complete and accurate coverage of all customers in the assigned territory, and ensures that all customers in this territory are physically called upon at least once every six months.

     

    Ensure that reports are completed accurately with sufficient information to determine direction of industry, opportunities to grow our business, direction of our competitors and all lost sales information.  Reports must be submitted promptly to management as requested.

     

    Ensures weekly itineraries are noted on the Lotus Notes calendar by the Saturday before the impending week.

     

    Consistently pursues new customers.  Credit account collections must remain within company guidelines and that advanced payments must be received on cash accounts.

     

    Serves as the customer's primary contact for parts and service programs and resolution of related issues.  PSSRs are responsible for the reporting all issues or complaints to the proper managers in a timely manner.

     

    Annual sales and marketing plans must be established with clearly defined goals for key and target customers and industries, as well as the territory as a whole.

    Qualifications

    3 to 5 years of experience in Sales (within the applicable industry).


    Computer skills required are - Lotus Notes, Word and Excel.


    Must be able to comprehend, speak and write the English language.


    Must possess good interpersonal and communication skills and positive attitude.


    Must possess a valid Florida driver's license and be able to cover the assigned territory by car.


    High School Diploma required.

     

    Some college preferred, and if possible, or a Bachelor’s Degree in related equivalent experience in truck or lift trucks.
