Provide expertise to acquire, manage, manipulate, and analyze data and report results. Monitor end-user usage of systems. Analysis of marketing data such as customer information, call activities, buying preferences and patterns, demographics, industry type, etc. Reviews CRM system data in response to channel marketing initiative and makes recommendations to managers accordingly.

Responsible for developing a formalized process to identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets. Make recommendations in collaboration with others based on findings.
Utilize market assessment data to identify growth opportunities for our business through data analysis and interpretation.
In collaboration with others, develop and maintain databases and data systems necessary for projects and department functions.
Acquire and extract primary or secondary data from existing internal or external data sources (OLGA, UCC 1, DOM, Dodge, Dunn & Bradstreet).
In collaboration with others, develop and implement data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and data quality.
Perform basic statistical analysis for projects and reports – while also developing graphs and presentations of project results.
Create and present quality dashboards – where data is fully automated.
Generate routine and ad hoc reports as needed.

Create customer lists as needed for marketing initiatives and campaigns. May include data extractions from current CRM system.
Evaluate customer assignments based on customer coverage strategy guidelines, minimum of 2X annually.
Develop and maintain proficiency in mining existing data, including Ring Power internal data sources, online activity, and external market and industry data sources, then translate into actionable insights.
Preparation of reports for Management, which may include creation of graphs or power point presentations to visually explain the statistical data for the purpose of strategic planning, with Sales Groups or Management.
Gain a full understanding of the customer market segments served by our various business units, the products and services they represent, and use statistical data to guide our business growth in a positive direction.
This includes analysis of historic trends and forecasting future conditions.
Responsible for identifying data within Ring Power’s systems that needs cleansing to maximize the integrity of the data at all times.
Assist the Marketing Liaisons in developing the proper metrics and dashboards to accurately provide ROI and results of marketing campaigns and promotional efforts.
Gathering market data such as Voice of Customer surveys may be required.
2 to 5 years of experience in Statistical and Predictive Data Analytics and Interpretation
Proficient at Microsoft BI Stack (TSQL, SSRS, SSAS Tabular, Excel, PowerBI, Power Pivot, Access, Sharepoint)
Other Statistical Software a plus
Good project management and ability to present work to Groups
Must be able to comprehend, speak and write the English language.
Must possess good interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft BI Stack
Ability to grasp and understand all pertinent company computer systems – with training.
Excellent customer relations skills.
Strong motivation and self-starting initiative is required. Ability to present complex information in an understandable and compelling manner. Experience using SalesLink CRM, DBS, and any other Caterpillar Dealership

Bachelor’s Degree from 4-Year College or University in Information Management, Computer Science, Mathematics or Statistics or other related field or an equivalent combination of education.
