Main Duties & Responsibilities

Must be able to set up, tear down and monitor entertainment jobs on site. Complete any troubleshooting of all equipment on site. Be able to run electric generation and HVAC equipment.

 

Shall have all the duties of a Technician II, and will be called upon to lead a crew on large entertainment jobs.

 

Shall be capable of inspecting electrical components to insure all safety measures are being used and equipment is performing.

 

Shall monitor job expenses and is aware of any cost over run, prior to the job being completed.

 

Shall be prepared to assume the lead person, position temporarily or permanently.

 

Shall submit any additional cost associated with job to home office.

 

Shall understand the work order system and documentation requirements.

 

Must attend all required training programs.

 

Must satisfactorily and diplomatically supervise those employees under him or her, and act as his/her own supervisor if necessary.

 

Must resolve any complaints, disputes, or suggestions offered by those under his/her supervision and pass the resolution on to his/her immediate supervisor.

 

Must maintain a positive attitude and act as a role model for the other employees to follow.

 

Must have the ability to train others.

Qualifications

5 to 7 years of experience in the Entertainment / Special Events field. Electrical, Power Generation and HVAC knowledge required.

 

Basic PC knowledge required.

 

Must own their tools.

 

Clean driving record - good MVR.

 

Must be able to comprehend, speak and write the English language.

 

Must possess good interpersonal and communication skills.

 

High School Diploma or related equivalent required.
