Main Duties & Responsibilities

Responsible for performing monitoring and analysis of machinery electronic data generated from technology products. Tools used to monitor and analyze the data include satellite, data files, and inspection reports from a centralized location in order to increase machine life expectancy. Prepare reports and present information to customers in regards to machine health. This position is expected to model the following practices on a daily basis: 1) Demonstrated alignment with the company's mission and core business values; 2) Collaboration with key internal/external resources and 3) Ongoing self-development.

 

Monitor, analyze and report machine technical problems in an accurate, efficient and timely manner to satisfy customer needs.

 

Analyze machine data (e.g. SOS, inspections, electronic data, site conditions, equipment history) and prepare reports and recommendations to customers in order to identify problems and other information related to machine health.

 

Maintain technical proficiency through self study and/or successful completion of required training courses in order to increase job related competencies.

 

Maintain and control company property and resources in a manner to ensure cleanliness, reliability and minimal expense.

 

Assist customers in answering questions that pertain to technology products and their use and application.

 

Maintain all paperwork and data in an organized and efficient manner.

 

Provide equipment and/or operation recommendations to customer/dealer representatives derived from condition monitoring data.

 

Build collaborative relationships with other condition monitoring personnel (e.g. SOS lab, PSSR, MSR and ISR.

Qualifications

Ability to understand the basic dynamics of equipment operation and design.


Computer skills: proficient with Microsoft Excel with some Microsoft Access use.


Knowledge of Vision Link and SOS Web.


Must be able to comprehend, speak and write the English language.


Must possess good interpersonal and communication skills.

 

High School Diploma or equivalent required.


Bachelor’s Degree from a four year college or university or related equivalent experience preferred.
