Main Duties & Responsibilities

Provides APR Energy technical support for Caterpillar GPP Products

 

Provide technical information for all parties: APR Energy, CAT and Ring Power assistance in solving technical problems related to CAT GPP products.

 

Maintain communication between all parties; APR Energy, CAT and regarding technical issues, utilizing all methods and systems of communicating such as, but not limited to: DSN,TMI, email, Webcast etc.

 

Provides weekly written updates on product performance issues identified through technical support.

 

Conduct weekly Webcast between CAT / RPC to share findings / results.

 

Maintain a positive attitude and act as a role model for the other to follow.

 

Ability to train others.

 

Guide and/or mentor others within APR Energy in a helpful and educational manner on the GPP product.

 

Maintain a superior level of understanding at it relates toward the GPP models and ensure awareness of technical changes or suggestions that are the outcome of being embedded within APR Energy to maximize efficiency and help control Total Cost of Ownership.

 

Maintain the care and maintenance of company machines/equipment.  Ensure co-workers are doing the same.

 

Champion APR Energy problems that appear to arise from the use of the GPP products.

 

Completes, maintains, and processes pertinent paperwork and records.

 

Plans and schedules levels of support according to product findings.

Qualifications

Must be able to comprehend, speak and write the English language.

Post High School education including a specialized technical course or equivalent years experience as a Technician preferred.


10+ Years direct Technician experience.


Combination of education and experience will be considered.
