Main Duties & Responsibilities

Primary Job Role

ERP Strategy and Leadership -Own the full lifecycle of Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP implementations, including planning, execution, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support. Define and maintain the ERP roadmap in alignment with business goals and IT strategy. Lead cross-functional steering committees and working groups to prioritize ERP initiatives and ensure stakeholder alignment.

 

Team Management & Development - Manage and mentor a team of Business Systems Analysts responsible for day-to-day ERP support, issue resolution, and user training. Establish clear roles, responsibilities, and performance metrics for the ERP support team. Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the team.

 

Operational Excellence - Oversee ERP system configuration, data integrity, and security protocols. Develop and enforce change management processes, including documentation, testing, and approval workflows. Ensure timely resolution of ERP-related incidents and service requests, maintaining high levels of user satisfaction.

 

Business Partnership & Process Improvement - Collaborate with business units to understand requirements and translate them into ERP solutions. Identify opportunities to streamline business processes through automation, integration, and system enhancements. Serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders on ERP capabilities and limitations.

 

Reporting & Analytics - Partner with BI and Data teams to ensure ERP data is accessible and actionable for reporting and analytics. Monitor system performance and usage metrics to identify trends and improvement areas. Provide regular updates to senior leadership on ERP health, roadmap progress, and business impact.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • Formal Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a related area of study
  • Experience: 5-6 years

Required / Credentials

5+ years of ERP experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.

 

Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects.

 

Strong understanding of core business processes (finance, supply chain, operations, etc.).

 

Experience in a mid-to-large size organization with distributed teams and multiple business units.

 

Not Required but Highly Desired Criteria

 

Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations or Business Central.

 

Knowledge of Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps) and integrations with D365.

 

Familiarity with IT governance frameworks (e.g., ITIL, COBIT) and project methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).

 

Experience with ERP data migration, system integrations, and cloud-based deployments.

 

Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
