Main Duties & Responsibilities

Primary Job Role

Assists with developing and promoting the highest level of safety. Instrumental in leading a culture with safety as priority one without the Service and Parts Debt.

 

Directly supervises Service Managers and Parts Managers, conducts quarterly meetings and assists in establishing annual goals and objectives.

 

Responsible for the profitability of the Service and Parts Department, offers the best possible product support to our customer. Controls direct expenses, expense hours, and new machine service and policy allowance warranties.

 

Ensures warranty decisions are made promptly using established guidelines. Collaborates with Sales Managers and General Manager of corrective action taken.

 

Intervenes on elevated customer requests for service in a timely manner. Assists in resolving customer issues and ensures that we are delivering on the highest overall "customer experience".

 

Handles bi-annual audits to be performed at each branch to ensure compliance and reports to General Parts Manager. Prepares progress reports to be reported to General Parts Manager quarterly.

 

Reviews service and parts reports carefully to ensure accuracy and complete information.

 

Oversees annual establishment of department parts budgets. Monitors progress of each branch monthly and counsels parts managers accordingly.

 

Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

Formal Education Associate Degree or certification equivalent in a related field of study

 

Experience 7 or more years

Required / Credentials

Able to easily and effectively comprehend written material and communicate orally and in writing with employees and customers.

 

Valid Driver's License.

 

Proficient in MS Office programs and Teams applications.

Not Required but Highly Desired Criteria

Experience with DBS or similar dealer application.

 

Understanding of CRM business tools.

Updating of Knowledge

Job requirements occasionally change requiring re-training to stay current every 3-5 years.
