Account Manager - Ring Power Crane

Sells products for establishment or at sales office, store, or customer's place of business by performing the following duties.

Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from newspapers, business directories, and other sources.

Travels throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders or talks with customers at the store or by phone. This includes 2-3 nights a week staying on the road in the territory.

Displays or demonstrates product, using samples or catalog, and emphasizes salable features.

Quotes prices and credit terms and prepares sales contracts for orders obtained.

Estimates date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of own firm's production and delivery schedules.

Prepares reports of business transactions and keeps expense accounts. Maintains an up to date CRM Logs and Sales Funnel.

Make regular sales calls to maintain existing customers as assigned to ensure relationship is maintained.

Provides technical and sales support to customers on a regular basis.  This support should include the development of "lunch and learn sessions" to provide individual and group presentations for the purpose of new product updates and product improvements.  These functions should include the resources of the vendor’s factories and field personnel whenever deemed necessary.

Performs regular "cold calls" on new customers in order to expand the existing customer base.

Maintains a schedule that maximizes the effectiveness of the time spent in the field and the office and provide this schedule to the Manager.

Develops and submit a yearly forecast and marketing plan.

Tracks all quotes including jobs won, jobs pending, jobs lost and jobs developing as required in the CRM.

Timely reporting of above information as required.

Minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience in Sales and with Utility/ Heavy Equipment experience.

Knowledge of basic computer skills preferred.

Must be able to comprehend, speak and write the English language.

Must possess good interpersonal and communication skills.

High School Diploma or related equivalent required.

Bachelor’s Degree from a four year college or university or related equivalent experience preferred.

Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
