Main Duties & Responsibilities

Manages the administrative duties involved with the ordering, procurement, tracking, maintenance, repair and disposal of all equipment purchased by or sold out of the Lift Truck Division of Ring Power. 

 

Responsible for ordering all equipment per instruction from sales, rental or used equipment managers.

 

Issue purchase orders and submits invoices for payment on all equipment accessories, repairs, maintenance and transportation required in the procurement and sale of equipment.

 

Coordinates logistics and tracks all equipment and accessories other than items in the lift truck division’s rental fleet.

 

Processes invoices for all equipment sales including retail, wholesale and auction machines.

 

Keeps track of all associated business transactions and expenses associated with the new or used equipment inventories. Prepares reports of business transactions including sales and expense accounts for management.

 

Compiles weekly report of equipment orders, sales and sales backlog.

 

Ensures all sales transactions occur following company policy and guidelines, communicates issues with management to ensure sales staff stays up to date and informed of appropriate policy changes.

 

Communicates verbally and in writing with the sales force especially sales management. Position must professionally contribute towards improving efficiencies in policies and procedures.

 

Assists with answering telephone, solves issues and problems that arise professionally and quickly.

Qualifications

Knowledge of basic computer skills preferred.

 

Must be able to comprehend, speak and write the English language.

 

Must possess good interpersonal and communication skills.

 

High School Diploma or related equivalent required.

 

Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university or related equivalent experience preferred.
