Main Duties & Responsibilities

Primary Job Role

 

When acting as Captain, files flight plan with FSS and obtains weather data and interprets data to ensure safety of flight conditions.

 

Ensures the performance of the following items, which may be delegated to the First Officer when acting as Captain: (a) Making pre-flight and in-flight tests to ensure safety of flight, (b) Cleaning and stocking aircraft with supplies maintaining it in ready flight condition, and (c) Preparing aircraft for departure and securing aircraft at the end of flight.

 

Assists Director of Flight Operations in hiring, on-boarding, developing, and training new pilots.

 

Assists Director of Flight Operations in ensuring that the fleet is maintained, meeting or exceeding FAA and other regulatory regulations, rules, and laws, to ensure the safe and optimal performance of each aircraft.

 

Assists in the selection, purchase, and stocking of all supplies related to the operation. This includes building maintenance and housekeeping supplies, as well as passenger refreshments and snacks and other comfort items offered both in the terminal building as well as on each of the aircraft. Also, assists in performing housekeeping and replenishing the stocks in the terminal as well as on the aircraft.

 

When acting as Captain, pilots the aircraft in a safe and passenger-friendly manner.

 

Gains and maintains type-ratings for each aircraft in the fleet.

 

Ensures overall travel logistics are effectively managed for each flight: EASA International Regulations are met (when applicable), ground transportation is arranged, accommodations for passengers and flight team are made, and other details are handled.

 

Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

Formal Education High School Diploma or GED

 

Experience 3-4 years

Required / Credentials

Able to easily and effectively comprehend written material and communicate orally and in writing with employees and customers.

 

Airline Transport Pilot License

 

Current First Class Medical certification

 

Current Type-Rating for each aircraft in the fleet, CJ4 CE252 and/or Citation X+ CE750 and/or type rating in CE700 Longitude.

 

Refrain from drinking alcohol at all times

 

COVID vaccination required
